Big City Score (Cops & Robbers)

Big city Score!
Based on grid of Melbourne players place cops and defenses on a virtual grid, corresponding to a real life playing field where robbers are trying steal something.

there are three groups. Robbers, Cops and online cops. the "players" will be the online cops the robbers and ground cops will be made up of our third year group and maybe some extras if we need the manpower.

the games starts by informing the players" of a tip off that something in Melbourne is going to be stolen. this will link them to the website with the map and locations of possible targets. the "players" are encouraged to make an account and sift through the clues that are available. there will be video clues narrowing down which items that the robbers are going after.
there is a forum which the "players" can discuss possible locations and relay information they get from the clues. as the day of the hiest gets closer the volume of clues will increase and be more succinct as to where the targets are located.
Also at the disposal of the "players" are a number of police ground troops. the interactive map is a voting system that the players click to vote where they want police deployed. this will be relayed on the day of the event. the police will head out to these locations for the start of the game.
Robbers are not allowed to use public transport as the robbers will be recognised by surveilance cameras. ground forces cannot afford a metcard on the day. lol
All of this is a lead up to the actual event of the hiest!
The hiest time and date are provided in week one of the game comencing. on that day the information gathered from the prievious weeks will be used by the "players" to try and stop the robbers from stealing the item. this event will place the "players" in the control room on the day. the control room will have a game board and the location of the item being stolen. they will have Mobile/ walkie talkie contact with the police ground force to coordinate the defence. the police can radio in for help if they see a robber, and this information is past on to the players. to assist in defence aswell. the control room can contact the police ground force to infromt them where to head.
